I want to talk about the HUMAN CANVAS as it relates to my last series a figurative study. It is raw, personal and intimate. Dozens of men and women, professionals, athletes, celebrities and the everyday figure...This group of bold, authenticate, honest and courageous individuals through the commonality of tattoos, art-form using skin as canvas I am propelled to another platform ...a new series.....with the realization that each one of us, perhaps not as bold to share out life journey pain and joy on our skin.......we are each one of us tattooed on the inside, carrying our burdens and pleasures in a secret way, not seen by others.....I return to expressing our individual tattoos through figurative line drawings and mirrored symbolism. I know I have just completed the most significant series of my professional career with Human Canvas but for those willing to go there.........the most inspiring, provocative and passionate work is on the near horizon.
